RELATED: Genshin Impact: The Best Builds For Kokomi

Yae Miko’s build in Genshin Impact is really easy as she doesn’t need a specific artifact. While it’s highly likely that she will soon have her own set, for now, players have to settle with hybrids of some common artifacts.

Yae Miko’s Talent Overview

Yae Miko has one of the lowest Normal Attack multipliers among the Catalyst users in Genshin Impact, so using her as a Main DPS would be far from optimal. She’s best used as an off-field Sub-DPS.

Elemental Skill

When players use Yae Miko’s Elemental Skill, she will move to the designated direction, leaving a Sesshou Sakura behind. This fox turret will periodically deal damage to one enemy in the area. Travelers can have up to three charges saved, and a maximum of three Sesshou Sakura can be deployed on the field.

The turrets have up to four levels, but at zero Constellation, the highest grade players can get is level three. To increase the strength, Travelers simply have to use the skill when a turret exists nearby. This will link the foxes together, increasing their level simultaneously.

Sesshou Sakuras of different levels can exist at the same time. This can happen if players cast the skill too far from the existing turret.

Elemental Burst

Yae Miko’s Elemental Burst is very straightforward. She summons a lightning bolt from the sky, dealing massive Electro damage. If her fox turret exists on the field, each of them will blow up and deal an even higher amount of Electro damage. For every Sesshou Sakura destroyed, Yae Miko will gain one charge of Elemental Skill.

Best Artifacts For Yae Miko In Genshin Impact

The best stats to aim for on Yae Miko’s Artifacts are the traditional Attack/Electro/Crit. Most of her damage comes from her Elemental Skill, so items that buff her Burst aren’t optimal.

Artifact Main Stat

Hourglass: Attack Goblet: Electro Damage Bonus Circlet: Critical Rate or Damage

Artifact Set

2-Thundering Fury + 2-Gladiator’s Finale 2-Shimenawa’s Reminiscence + 2-Gladiator’s Finale 2-Wanderer’s Troupe + 2-Thundering Fury 2-Thundering Fury + 2-Noblesse Oblige 4-Thundering Fury 4-Emblem of Severed Fate

For Yae Miko, players can opt for an Elemental Mastery (EM) or Energy Recharge (ER) Hourglass if Attack is unavailable. ER is better if players are playing without Elemental Reaction, while EM is better in a Reaction team.

Even if players are making an Elemental Reaction composition, Attack/Electro/Crit is still the best option. However, people can also use EM/EM/EM as an alternative. For the artifact set, 2-Wanderer’s Troupe + 2-Thundering Fury rise to the top. Meanwhile, 4-Thundering Fury fails to take the top 3, besting only Noblesse Oblige and Emblem of Severed Fate.

Best Weapons For Yae Miko In Genshin Impact

As expected, Kagura’s Verity is the best weapon for Yae Miko. It grants a great buff to her Elemental Skill, which is the star of her kit. For F2P players, Mappa Mare is a decent option for Yae Miko. The Widsith is also an excellent choice if the Catalyst comes from gacha.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
