Speaking to Kinda Funny on We Have Cool Friends, Pete Hines, Bethesda’s senior vice president of marketing and communications, said that the company would be showing more of Deathloop and GhostWire: Tokyo at E3 2020. The company is one of several major publishers or developers confirmed for E3 2020, though it hasn’t confirmed the date of its press conference.

Hines said that fans will likely hear more about Deathloop at E3 2020, but teased more announcements about the game before then. He also said that fans of Dishonored and Prey developer Arkane Studios are “going to be pleased” with Deathloop as “they’re doing some really cool stuff with that, where it feels pretty familiar, but then also like, hey, they’re trying to sort of do some things different.” Bethesda revealed the first Deathloop trailer at E3 2019, but fans don’t know much about it. Hopefully, E3 2020 will be able to answer more of their questions.
There also hasn’t been much about GhostWire: Tokyo since that was announced at E3 2019. GhostWire: Tokyo developer Ikumi Nakamura left the development team after making everybody smile with her personality at E3 2019, but there hasn’t been much other information.
The trailers for these games looked great, but many fans want to know if Bethesda is bringing Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6 to E3 2020. The company has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield are being developed for new consoles and as the PS5 and Xbox Series X have been announced, it could potentially share some more information about its games.
Bethesda has also said that Starfield will be released before The Elder Scrolls 6, making it more likely it will bring it to E3 2020. Fans will want to know what Starfield plays like and when it will be released, as there hasn’t been much info about it released. They may not come to E3 2020 if Bethesda doesn’t feel that it has much to show fans of the two titles, but it sounds like the company will have something exciting to announce regardless.
GhostWire: Tokyo currently has no release date. Deathloop is currently in development for unspecified platforms
